Pastoral Visit to the Diaspora Europe/Gulf Missionary Area

The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC), Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel Fonki, is currently on a pastoral visit to the Diaspora Europe and Gulf Missionary Area. According to a communiqué from the office of the Coordinator, Rev. Dr. Amos Chewachong, the Moderator arrived in Germany on Friday, September 27, 2024, and is scheduled to lead a Holy Communion service at PC Ruhrgebiet on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Following his stay in Germany, the Moderator will head to Antwerp, Belgium, on Friday, October 4, 2024, for a grand celebration honouring his ten years of service as the Moderator of the PCC. Upon arrival in Antwerp, he will be welcomed by members of the Care-Taker Committee (CARECOM) and the Parish Executive. The event will include a special farewell service on Sunday, October 6, 2024, which will commemorate his decade of faithful leadership. This significant occasion is expected to draw PCC members from across Europe and beyond, who will gather to mark the milestone with fitting ceremony and reverence.

The farewell service on October 6, 2024, will be a meaningful time of fellowship, where Christians can receive spiritual guidance and blessings from the Moderator. After the celebration in Belgium, the Moderator’s next stop will be in the Gulf region, where PCC congregations will have the opportunity to meet and worship with him before his retirement as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon.
